To Lock the Application ( Kiosk Mode)

✅ On Android Devices:

This is often called "App Pinning".

? Steps to Enable App Pinning (Android):

1. Go to Settings > Security > Advanced > App Pinning (or search “App pinning” in Settings).

2. Turn App Pinning ON.

3. Open the app you want to pin (your application).

4. Tap the Recent Apps button (square icon or swipe-up gesture).

5. Tap the Pin icon (?) on the top of the app window.

Once pinned:

• The user cannot leave the app unless they press and hold Back + Overview (or follow the device-specific gesture) and enter their lock screen PIN/Pattern/Password.

✅ On iPhones (iOS Devices):

It’s called Guided Access.

? Steps to Enable Guided Access (iOS):

1. Go to Settings > Accessibility > Guided Access.

2. Turn it ON.

3. Set a Passcode.

4. Open the app.

5. Triple-click the Home button or Side button to start Guided Access.

This locks the app and disables exiting until the passcode is entered.
