✅ On Android Devices:
This is often called "App Pinning".
? Steps to Enable App Pinning (Android):
Go to Settings > Security > Advanced > App Pinning (or search “App pinning” in Settings).
Turn App Pinning ON.
Open the app you want to pin (your application).
Tap the Recent Apps button (square icon or swipe-up gesture).
Tap the Pin icon (?) on the top of the app window.
Once pinned:
The user cannot leave the app unless they press and hold Back + Overview (or follow the device-specific gesture) and enter their lock screen PIN/Pattern/Password.
✅ On iPhones (iOS Devices):
It’s called Guided Access.
? Steps to Enable Guided Access (iOS):
Go to Settings > Accessibility > Guided Access.
Turn it ON.
Set a Passcode.
Open the app.
Triple-click the Home button or Side button to start Guided Access.
This locks the app and disables exiting until the passcode is entered.
